FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is your shop rate, and do you have a minimum charge?
A: We are extremely competitive at $130/Labor Hour. We do have a half hour - one hour minimum depending on the issue, or if there is insurance/warranty involved. We're pretty fair, so we aren't going to charge you a full half hour to change a fuse....thats ridiculous. Contact us for more info!
Q: Do you work with extended warranty?
A: Absolutely. We work with ALL extended warranty companies. We are an authorized service center.
Q: Do you work with manufacturer warranty?
A: Yes, and no. We are able to complete the work covered under your manufacturer warranty with prior approval. However, it is required by law that you pay out of pocket and be reimbursed directly by your manufacturer.
A: Because we are not a dealer. According to the Texas Blue Laws, we are not able to be paid directly by the manufacturer unless we sell their product. We will remain focused on your repairs, not on selling RVs. It's what sets us apart from the competition & allows us to complete the repairs so quickly.
Q: I already have a claim started. Do you work directly with insurance companies?
A: Absolutely. After you begin your claim, all we need is the claim number, your agents information and your coach and we can take it from there. Simple. Call to schedule your appointment today!
Q: Will you take a credit card over the phone?
A: Yes we will. We accept all forms of payment including: cash, credit cards or a check. There is a 3% Discount if you pay cash. You're Welcome 🙂
Q: If I bring you my RV, do you charge me for an estimate?
A: Yes. We have an hour minimum for all estimates, however we will apply those charges to the invoice as "PAID" if you choose to do the work with us.
Simple version: we don't charge you if we do the work. We will need to be paid for our time & diagnostics if you choose not to move forward with repairs.
Q: I live in my RV and it is tied down permanently, will you come to us?
A: Yes and no. We only offer mobile appointments on specific days to patrons at Texan RV Ranch. We simply do not have the manpower to do mobile calls at this time. When we find a tech that can fill that role we will begin offering on-site repair. For now, we know a few good men in your area. Give us a call & we'll get you their info depending on where you live.
Q: I need brakes, an oil change & my dash A/C charged. Do you do that?
A: No. We do everything with exception to engine, chassis, or tire work. Click 'The Other Guys' button below for a list of companies that we recommend. We have vetted them and know they will treat you as good as we would.
Q: I'm looking at buying a new RV, do you offer Pre-Purchase Inspections?
A: No. Pre-Purchase Inspections need to be done on-site and we do not have a technician at this time that we can send out. You can call around to other Mobile RV Repair businesses and they may do them. We do not have a reference for that at this time. (sad face)
